Mike Derry, Associate
Mike Derry is an Information Technology (IT) and Financial Management (FM) expert that consults both to the government and private sector. He has over 30 years of experience as a leader and innovator in managing, planning, developing, acquiring, and placing into service IT and FM policy and major programs/systems for the Department of the Navy (DoN). In addition, Mike has a strong background in aviation project management, with a DAWIA Level III certification in Financial Management.
Mike currently supports the Chief of Naval Operations Information Management Division (OPNAV N2N6) Office, as an IT procurement analyst. Prior to that Mike supported Commander Navy Installation Command (CNIC) in their Financial Management (N55) and Inspector General (N00) Branches as a program analyst.
Prior to joining C&A, Mike served a career as a US Navy Civil Servant, where he worked at CNIC N56 as a Performance Metrics Analyst in support of N5 Business Management strategic plan. Prior to CNIC, Mike was a Program Analyst at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in support of their Naval Aviation Depot (NADEP) Program, and before that at Naval Aviation Depot Operations Center (NADOC), as a Project Specialist in support of NADEPs Depot Level Repair (DLR) program.
Mike has an Associate Degree Business from Tidewater College.
