Linda Greenwade, Senior Associate
Linda Greenwade is an Information Technology (IT)/Information Management (IM) expert that consults both to the government and private sector. She has over 30 years of experience as a leader and innovator in managing, planning, developing, acquiring, and placing into service IT policy and major programs/systems for the Department of the Navy (DoN). Strong background in IT Strategic Sourcing with a Professional Certification in Systems Engineering with specialty in development of acquisition strategies, contract negotiation, systems analysis, IV&V and functional test and evaluation.
Linda currently supports the Department of the Navy Chief Information Office (DoN CIO) and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Commercial IT Policy (CITP) in their Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) and Lean Six Sigma Programs. As a career US Navy Civil Servant, she most recently served as Branch Supervisor to fourteen engineers and technical specialist and Project Manager for the Department of Navy Information Technology (DON IT) Umbrella Program at SPAWARSYSCEN, San Diego, CA. There Linda assisted DoD and DON in making effective & efficient use of IT dollars by providing program management, technical expertise and financial resources to support the timely & cost effective placement of acquisition vehicles for IT hardware, software and services.
Prior to her tour at SPAWAR, Linda served as a Branch/Division Supervisor at Navy Computer and Telecommunications Station (NCTS) San Diego & det Alameda. Her major projects included Naval Integrated Storage Tracking and Retrieval System (NISTARS), Distribution Standard System (DSS), Message Text Formatted (MTF) Editor, Defense Information Infrastructure Common Operating Environment Message Processor (DII CMP), and Computerized Time and Attendance Reporting System (CTARS). Her other tours included NARDAC San Francisco, Naval Supply Center Oakland, and Naval Air Station Alameda.
