Doug Hancock, Senior Associate
Doug Hancock has over 12 years of management experience within the government sector. Doug is a subject matter expert (SME) in the tactical and technical operations of the Department of Navy (DoN) Aegis Combat and Weapon Systems, technical manual management, risk management and assessments, and program management. Doug is currently supporting the development of technical manuals for the new Military Sealift Command (MSC) Mobile Landing Platform (MLP) for Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
During Doug’s 20 years of active duty naval service he served as a technician, trainer, and leader. His significant accomplishments include earning the designation of Combat Systems Maintenance Manager and supervisor of the Aegis Fire Control System course. While serving at Service School Command Great Lakes, IL, Doug earned his Master Training Specialist designation. While aboard the USS OSCAR AUSTIN (DDG-79) and serving as the leading Chief, he led a technical support team of twenty-seven to maintain multiple Aegis Weapon System baselines, diagnose non-routine malfunctions, and provide the expertise necessary to effect repairs.
Doug received his AS in Electronics Theory from Thomas Edison State College.
