Violet London, Associate Director
Violet joined Cowan & Associates, Inc. (C&A) in June 2016 as a Knowledge Management (KM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) with over six years of hands-on KM experience with expertise in the supervision, design, implementation, and analysis of KM Systems, Tools, and Program Management. She is highly considered a SME for the Navyís KM Program.
She has a vast background in the conduct of KM and Information Flow Process Mapping across Naval Enterprises and Operational Navy Strike Group environments. Additionally, she has been a member of a three-person team that has planned and executed all KM training for the US NAVY.
Prior to joining C&A, Violet worked in the KM and Program Management communities at the operational level for Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor, HI, and at the tactical level for Tactical Training Group, Pacific in San Diego, CA. Violet also worked in program management at Lockheed Martin in Manassas, VA, working with U.S. Navy sonar systems and supporting the submarine fleet.
In her role as a KM SME for the Joint Staff Information Management Division (JS IMD) at the Pentagon, Violet provides consulting on process improvement, collaboration techniques, and system software support, planning, organizing, structuring, processing, controlling, evaluation, and reporting of information activities to JS.
Ms. London received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University if Michigan (Ann Arbor), where she made the Deanís List and National Honors Society while working full time. Violet is currently enrolled in a Master of Arts program in National Security Studies with a concentration in Security and Intelligence Analysis.
