Caleb Powell, Associate
Caleb is a transitioned United States Naval Officer with 20 years of leadership, information technology (IT), communications, cyber security, and logistics management experience. He currently provides Program Analyst support to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) Undersea Warfare Division (N97) for Manpower, Personnel, Training, and Education (MPT&E) associated with Submarine programs.
As a Navy Supply Corps Officer, Caleb successfully completed tours on USS SHREVEPORT (LPD 12) as Food Service Officer, USS TORTUGA (LSD 46) as Disbursing and Sales Officer, Fleet Technical Support Center, Atlantic as Evaluation and Review Officer, USNS SIRIUS (TAFS 8) as Assistant Officer in Charge, and Naval Air Facility Washington as an Aviation Supply Officer.
Caleb later transferred to the Information Professional community where he successfully completed assignments on USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73) as Communications Officer, at Headquarters U.S. European Command in Stuttgart, Germany as the Operations Officer for the Network Operations Security Center and Information Assurance Manager in the J6 directorate and later as the Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) Officer (N6) for Commander, Destroyer Squadron Fifty (COMDESRON 50) in Bahrain. His most recent assignments were IT Manpower and Training Analyst for Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Dominance (OPNAV N2/N6) and C4I/Space Systems Test and Evaluation Analyst for Navy Innovation, Test and Evaluation and Technology Requirements (OPNAV N84).
Caleb has a BS in Computer Science from Norfolk State University and a graduate certificate in Information Systems Technology from Naval Postgraduate School. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) IT Level 1 certified.
