Cowan is seeking an on-site Front Office Administrative Assistant to support the Amphibious Warfare Branch (OPNAV N953) and Navy Expeditionary Combat Branch (OPNAV 957), in the Expeditionary Warfare Division (OPNAV N95) of the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV).

Duties and Responsibilities
Gather read-aheads for the N95 Director and N95B in preparation for weekly branch head meetings.
Compile monthly task progress and accomplishment information and draft monthly progress reports to inform leadership.
Analyze and route documents from branches needing to be reviewed/signed by the Director and/or B-Code. Ensure documents are prepared and received in a timely manner.
Greet visitors, communicate messages, answer telephones, and assist staff with follow-up phone calls on outstanding documents/actions.
Check mail weekly in the N9 Secretariat office and pass along to appropriate recipient.
Duplicate, collate, assemble, and maintain materials.
Maintain hard copy, electronic filing, and record keeping systems to facilitate retrieval and historical record maintenance as required by the N95 Office.
Provide serial numbers for documents externally disseminated from N95.
Update and maintain internal rosters (OPNAV N95 Collateral Duty, Access List, Org Chart, Emergency Contact Card, Seating Chart, Telephone).
Operate VTC in preparation for meetings.
Maintain workspace cleanliness (burn bags, vacuuming, trash, entrance doors, conference rooms, and front desk area).
Maintain Wall of Directors in front office.
Coordinate with the government card holder to order office supplies.
Organize inventory of front office and well deck office supplies.

Education and Experience
1-3 years of related Department of Defense professional experience required.
Experience with Security Clearance Processing preferred.
